Dear Sisters in Christ,
As we enter this Lenten repentance season lets us remember to examine ourselves as daughters to work and spread the good news of God’s Kingdom. Let us remember our funds of the order which help sustain the work that we accomplish during the year.
The Endowment Fund which was due in November on All Saints Day which helps our order with the operating budget.
The Self Denial Fund which was due on February 20th, which helps us with our missionary work throughout the world.
Our Master’s Fund is due two weeks after Pentecost this coming
June 26, 2011. This fund is used for Daughters who want to further their education is some form of ministry.
Our newest fund is our Alpha Fund which assists with our Junior Daughters with their programs and scholarships and is due September 5, 2011.
Please remember at our Spring and Fall Assemblies we can donate to any of theses funds as individuals, from our Chapters, our Dioceses and our Provinces. Donations can be made in memory of your love one or in thanksgiving for the many blessings that we have received during our lifetime. These funds may be contributed to at any time during the calendar year.
Let’s spread the word about these very important funds that help us achieve our goals in our ministry and getting the work we are called to do done.
